It is Apple Picking Season! Come bring the kids, friends, the whole family and have fun apple picking!

Make your own fresh applesauce or make a few pies and freeze on just in time for Thanksgiving.

All ages are welcome!

Pick your own apples for $0.99 a pound (or buy already picked apples for $1.49 a pound).

This family-run orchard is located in the lush rolling hills of King township on the Oak Ridges Moraine. Dwarf trees in a beautiful setting. Farm shop, cider house, gifts and bakery, and tea room.

Come sit by the woodstove in the renovated grading and storage barn and enjoy a hearty lunch or a homemade soup. The store is filled with unique gifts and the bakeshop is brimming with seasonal baking and gourmet preserves.

Oh, the toddler years! They are sooo cute, they may be talking more now and their little personalities are really showing... but, they are also super bossy, they figure out how to open doors, they want their way ALL the time, they throw tantrums to get their way, they refuse to eat, they get into everything, not to mention potty training... oh the list really can go on for a while :-(

Well good news! We have a 6 experts who will be helping us to manage our toddlers without tears, without yelling and without the battle each time.

Stress & Conflict Management

Parenting Confidently is an informative and practical informational series of topics that enhance confidence and reduce the anxiety and nervousness that new parents face. Experts will teach and discuss various strategies to help and guide new parents. Topics will include; Infant first aid/CPR, nutrition, massage, sleep training, baby wearing, moms health and PPMD and development.

I will lead a discussion based around the 8 principles of Attachment parenting and the kiddies can play!

The location is a great indoor playground in Newmarket that will provide us with an area for the kids to play as well as room to have our meeting without being seperated from them.

Cost: $23 adult admission. Kids 3 and under FREE.

Bring: snacks and drinks, and a bathing suit/ swim diaper and towel, if your little one will be using the splash pad.
The Zoo has changing and feeding areas for small babies as well. I am nursing and find it great to go to with my 2 month old and 22 month old.

PS. I have a Zoo membership & parking pass, which makes the Zoo a lot more affordable if you go more than twice per year. I highly recommend getting one for easy kid entertainment (and mom walking exercise!) if you have a toddler.
