    Does anyone know of great music classes for toddlers (my son is almost 18 months old) in the Thornhill (Yonge & 407) area that are available on weekends? I saw on the Gymboree website that they only offer daytime classes during the week and I work full time. Your assistance would be GREATLY appreciated!! :)

    88 Keys (www.88keys.ca) does kindermusik classes - they are at Leslie and Hwy 7 in Richmond Hill. They have Saturday morning classes which are pretty busy, and perfect for working parents.

    We took Zoey  when she was 11-13 months old and she really enjoyed it. The director, Eileen, led the 'Village' (newborn to 18 months) class and also facilitated a kindermusik session for Zoey's first birthday party, which was great fun.

    After our first session, Eileen had to sub for another Saturday morning class and she did not have another teacher for the 'Village' class, and then they suspended that class for the summer. So we will be rejoining and going to the 'Our Time' (18 months -3.5 yrs) class in the Fall.

    There is an amazing instructor at Maestro In-Home Music www.maestroinhomemusic.com 416-357-8345 that does classes in the evening for all age groups including toddlers. (18mon-3years). They have different location including Bathurst and Clark which might be close to you.You should check this out. Good luck!

    I took my son to the Cosmo Music - The Music Garden when he was 18 months and we had lots of fun.  They have classes during the weekends so my husband and I alternate taking the class with him on Sundays.  He really likes the teacher there and learned a lot.  Here the link to their classes - http://cosmomusic.ca/school-of-music/group-programs/the-music-garden.html
