This is an ONLINE support group for moms in Ontario and British Columbia.
Hold On Pain Ends. HOPE is a group for women who are looking to connect with other moms. It can be helpful for those currently dealing with symptoms of postpartum depression/anxiety including low mood, irritability, crying, difficulty eating/sleeping, intrusive thoughts etc. This group will give you the opportunity to connect with other women and get support and education regarding postpartum mood, as well as strategies for coping, resources and referrals.
Note that this is a therapeutic group. An intake will be conducted by our therapist for all those interested in participating to ensure the right fit for group therapy.
Please only sign up if you are able to attend all sessions. There is a fee for this program, but we are providing it free to members who need it. The supportive group environment works best with everyone attending each session.
If you are not already a LWAB member, you can become one FREE by visiting https://lifewithababy.com/sign-up.
This group does have some exclusions, where it is not a great fit for those who are experiencing severe PMADs, or those who are experiencing acute crisis.

Join us for an empowering and compassionate gathering aimed at supporting individuals and families navigating the journey of healing after perinatal loss. Losing a baby during pregnancy or shortly after birth can be an incredibly challenging and isolating experience. This event is designed to provide a safe space for individuals and couples to come together, share their stories, and find solace in knowing they are not alone.
Through interactive workshops, insightful discussions, and supportive activities, we will explore the complexities of grief and the ways in which it impacts our relationships and support networks. Our expert speakers will offer practical guidance on how to navigate the grieving process as a couple, communicate effectively with loved ones, and find strength in community.
Topics will include:
Week 1: Coping and Connecting After Perinatal Loss(coping strategies and how to connect with your grief, yourself and your baby- or baby's memory- after loss)
Week 2: Pregnancy and Parenting After Perinatal Loss (Dealing with fears and anxiety, disconnection, loss of trust in and navigating the medical system)
Week 3: Healing Together After Perinatal Loss (relationships, support networks and integrating grief with ritual and new traditions)
Whether you're in the midst of grief, still processing your loss, or seeking ways to support a loved one, this event offers a supportive and nurturing environment for all who attend. Together, we will honor our babies, find comfort in shared experiences, and take steps toward healing as a community.
Let us come together to heal, support, and uplift one another as we embark on this journey of healing and hope.
