Through relatable examples, science-backed strategies, and interactive discussion, parents will learn:

Why young children experience intense emotions
How to regulate their own emotional responses during challenging moments
Tools to help children develop emotional awareness and resilience
Ways to turn emotional outbursts into opportunities for connection and growth

Whether you're dealing with tantrums, tears, or just trying to stay calm in the chaos, Tiny Tornadoes offers guidance and support to help you parent with confidence, empathy, and emotional clarity.

Ideal age: 1-5 years

Please note that our webinars are intentionally not recorded, so that all participants feel comfortable asking questions and speaking freely.

Flora's Walk 2027 Sponsorship (Monday, May 31, 2027)

Tue, 01 Jun 2027 01:00:00 GMT

Your Sponsorship Saves Lives!

What is Flora’s Walk?

Flora’s Walk is Canada’s largest perinatal mental health fundraiser taking place in over 50 cities across Canada. The event culminates in May, World Maternal Mental Health Month, where, after months of fundraising and planning, walks and events are held in cities across Canada throughout the month of May to call attention to the need for improved perinatal mental health care.

Who was Flora?

Flora’s Walk is named about Canadian mother, Flora, who tragically lost her life in 2022 to undetected and undiagnosed and untreated postpartum psychosis. We honour Flora and all those who have lost their lives to perinatal mental illness and fight for those struggling to receive care.

Read about Flora’s Story HERE

See our Flora’s Walk 2024 Photo Gallery HERE

The Impact of Flora’s Walk

Since 2022, over 100 organizations who have received funds through Flora’s Walk have provided free to low cost support groups and therapy across Canada.

In 2023, at Flora’s Walk in Ottawa on Parliament Hill, the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions announced funding to start work on Canada’s first ever clinical national guidelines for perinatal mental health.
