COMMUNITY EVENT: Stroller & Baby-Wearing Friendly Urban Hike with Trailbird Collective @ Tom Tailor Trail (King City)

As part of our Urban Hike Series we are hosting free local meet-ups on town trails and nearby forest tracts. Our goal is to promote healthy living and inspire women to seek more outdoor adventure.

The third event in this series is an urban hike at 99 Steps - Thorton Bales Conservation Area in King Township, (just outside of Newmarket/Aurora). Here are the details for this event:

When: Saturday, May 26

Meet: Thorton Bales Conservation Area Parking on 19th Sideroad, West of Bathurst

Time: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Approximate Distance: 7 to 8 kms

Terrain: Forest trail, dirt path, hills

Notes: This event is NOT stroller-friendly, but you may choose to wear your baby! This hike may be too long for younger children who are not being worn or carried. It is suggested to dress appropriately for the weather, bring water and snacks. In case of inclement weather, participants will be notified at least two hours prior if the event is cancelled.
