Ladies, I'm 32 weeks (2nd pregnancy) and experiencing awful pelvic pain, mostly in the front (not like sciatica). Anyone else experienced this? This is new to me. Did a maternity support belt help? What brand & where did you purchase one? Thanks! Mireille

Sorry to hear about the pain.  I had really bad pain that came from my sacroillial joint; it lasted from about 28 - 33 weeks.  I saw a physiotherapist, who gave me exercises to do, and she also taped my back to give the joint extra support.  I also used a Medella maternity support belt around the same time.  I'm not sure which it was, or if it was both combined, or if the baby just shifted her position in me, but shortly afterwards, the pain was gone, and the rest of the pregnancy was comfortable  (so there is hope !).  Best of luck !

Hi, sorry to hear you are uncomfy, I had that pain (and sciatic pain too) with my second baby, I bought the belt at thyme maternity, it was pretty good, I just found it got a little itchy after a long period of wearing (it was in the summer though).  I also went to see a chiropractor for my pain too, she specialized in prenatal & pediatric care, it was great and helped a lot!
