Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the Mom and Baby Yoga classes.

If there's sufficient interest and attendance, we can look in to a class at Yoga Tree in Richmond Hill (Highway 7/ Bayview) as well.

The yoga is moving to the Yoga Tree studio in Richmond Hill from 7 October. The last class at the Thornhill studio will be 1 October.

The last class in Richmond Hill will most likely be 25 November.

I'm not sure - my little one will most likely be crawling and more mobile then, so I may look in to offering alternate type of yoga classes - mom and tot yoga or just tot yoga - so I will not have time to do mom and baby yoga as well.

I go back to work in March, and may offer more mom and baby classes then, if my employer is willing to let me work from home and take an extended lunch break once a week!

No baby carrier is needed. You need a yoga mat (bring your own or rent from the studio for $2), blanket and quiet toys for baby. And of course all your usual baby gear :)

There's no space for strollers in the practice room and very little space in the studio reception. Most moms just bring baby in their car bucket seat, or carry/ wear them - there's usually parking right outside the door.

As mentioned earlier in this discussion, I may start classes again in February/ March, but it depends on my employer (I usually only teach yoga part-time after office hours) and availability of my time and the studio. I am volunteering my time whilst I am on maternity leave.

In the meantime, you can check out other mom and baby yoga classes with Mommy and Baby Fitness, Becoming Maternity Centre and Yoga Plus.
