Holly Davis
Offering Individual Therapy
![]() | Holly Davis – Registered Psychotherapist - Qualifying ABOUT ME: TRUSTWORTHY, INTUITIVE, EMPATHETIC, COMPASSIONATE, GENUINE, DOWN TO EARTH, COLLABORATIVE. WHILE I AM A PEOPLE PERSON, I ALSO REQUIRE QUIET TIME TO RECHARGE. As a mom of two children, I remember what it was like to have a newborn baby and experience Post postpartum anxiety. I felt isolated and alone in my worry and thoughts. When I reached out to join a support group of new moms, I realized I was not alone. Talking one-on-one with a counsellor or with peers in a group experiencing the same emotions/insecurities/fears is a game changer. My role is to help guide new moms through their journey of healing. I believe this happens with mutual respect and collaboration. I am at the final stages of my masters in Psychology and Counselling, and I am happy to volunteer at LWAB as a counsellor as it is an organization that is so helpful to so many women and families. I provide Individual counselling and assist in Peer support group meetings. Mindzmatter11@gmail.com |

HOPE Groups
Hold On Pain Ends. HOPE is a group for women who are looking to connect with other moms. It can be helpful for those currently dealing with symptoms of postpartum depression/anxiety including low mood, irritability, crying, difficulty eating/sleeping, intrusive thoughts etc. This group will give you the opportunity to connect with other women and get support and education regarding postpartum mood, as well as strategies for coping, resources and referrals.
Life With A Baby offers HOPE groups for free to mothers, with therapists and peers, allowing mothers to thrive. The mothers have improved scores on depression scales, and report feeling better after completing the group. During the group sessions, our individual therapists are now available to meet individually with the mothers between sessions if they have things they need further help on.
Our next session is starting soon! Find it on the event calendar.
