I had an unexpected c-section, and was not ready for it at all! Aside from what the hospital staff told me, there were a few things that I wish I had known:

1. Buy 'granny' undies with a high waist line, which you will throw away after. I know, gross, but I wish someone told me!

2. It will be VERY difficult to get into the car if you have a 4x4.. OUCH!

3. If you get a co-sleeper (http://mattresszine.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/3983-thumb.jpg) and have all the baby-changing necessities on your night stand and camp out on the bed for a few days, it'll ease the pain of healing.

4. Make food in advance and freeze it. You'll definitely be thankful after!
