Parents as Partners - Focus on Fathers: Language and Literacy for Toddlers

(Workshop recommended for PARENTS of children 12 to 24 months)

Dads will learn how to support their child’s language learning using the child’s natural interest in play. We will look at simple games, especially turn-taking games that promote communication. Fathers will be introduced to a great selection of books that will interest toddlers, and we will learn how to use these books to stimulate your child’s interest and vocabulary. Note – our focus will be on Dads and other significant male figures in a child’s life, but everyone is welcome to attend!
