Do you ever try to imagine what your child's day in Kindergarten will look like?

If your child is entering Kindergarten this year, and if you're curious about what your child will experience on a typical day, please join us online for our valuable and informative hour-long program, Journey to Kindergarten: Q & A with a Kindergarten Teacher on Thursday, August 4 at 10:30am

Parents as Partners: Q & A with a Kindergarten Teacher

This special one-hour program is presented by Kindergarten Educator and Early Years Consultant Taylor Coles. Taylor will virtually share a typical 'flow of the day' in Kindergarten, and the roles and responsibilities of both educators and students throughout the day. We will explore how an educator team considers time, space and resources to design the classroom environment with the students at the centre. We will look at what small group literacy and mathematics mini lessons might look like within the flow of the day, and how small group instruction can occur both formally (with a predetermined group at a designed small group table) and informally (in playful learning).
