Do you or did you love and truly enjoy being pregnant?  How do you reflect on it and how do you feel about it?

    Hi Nina,

I truly loved it! Especially when the belly started showing and the kicking was in full effect. I hated the marks and the heaviness on my feet though. All in all - I must say I was lucky to have a healthy pregnancy, so I definitely enjoyed it!

Its has been amazing for me, too!  I never felt more alive and more sexy in my life.  But after the 3rd, I thought I've enjoyed enough of that good stuff.  :D   Its probably about time to plan something new for my life as I carry on.

This is my second pregnancy and i can't say that i'm enjoying it. I'm excited about having a baby, i'm not enjoying all the aches and pains that go along with being pregnant. I'm in bed by 10 pm on most nights and usually feel tired in the afternoon regardless of what i do in the morning. And there is always something new- a new weird symptom or feeling, i.e. your sinus being congested all the time, feet swelling, etc:)) Oh, yeah, and i don't like that my body doesn't belong to me and i can't take any drugs when i need to, i.e. a decongestant for my cold.

Not to be negative, but i'm looking forward to being myself again and to getting to know my new baby.

Hi Masha!  You're absolutely right. It hasn't been easy for me too.  Was never spared from sleepless and uncomfortble nights.  The 1st was light for me though didn't even realize I was pregnant until 1 month later.  Didn't get sick but labour and delivery were the longest and most excruciating.  The 2nd made me sick for at least 3 weeks.  Delivery was a breeze and I even dozed off during labour (Epidural, such bliss.)  But the 3rd, oh the 3rd, was the worst!  Nausea and throw-ups for five months every single day that I lost so much weight. Agh.  :D

    Hello all!!

I was so excited to get pregnant, you know,  doing everything doctos and friends say... but then when I was finally pregnant I was sick from day one until delivery...

Those were long days and nigths sitting next to the toilet, vomitting at least 5 times a day.. and at work, well, I don't really know how I made it ...

I'm looking foward to have a second baby, but not being pregnancy again..

I really truly enjoyed every minute of my pregnancy. From the moment I found out... (she was already three months) I wasn't supposed to be able to get pregnant so my doc thought I had the flu until the flu wasn't getting better.  I didn't have any morning sickness, just an overall tiredness and low feeling. By the time this feeling was over and I found out I was pregnant it was almost the second trimester so all the icky feelings were gone.

My husband (fiance at the time) started treating me like a princess, cooking, doing the housework... whatever I needed.  Everywhere I went people would make a big deal about it, congratulate me on my tummy growing - plus I was in the middle of planning my wedding when I found out I was pregnant, so it was an all around exciting time.  Got married when she was four months and spent the next five months in a blissful state.  I was a bit anxious during my pregnancy b/c I was so excited to be pregnant and didn't want anything bad to happen.

I felt very comfortable in my body... didn't have to worry about my figure , felt very sexy and happy.

I loved being pregnant.. I was very lucky to have a very uneventful pregnancy in terms of being sick for the first trimester.. second and third had a bit more excitment as I was feeling tired, sick, uncomfortable but  we were able to feel the baby kick and move and stick little feet in my ribs -ouch!... and also the fact that we didn't know the sex made it all that more exciting for us as we tried to imagine what it was... (we had a girl!). I also liked the way I looked, felt good about myself and loved having my big belly.. I actually missed it once our baby was born! :)  overall I would totally do it again...  when?.. well, we don't know yet... our 21 month old is going through her terrible two's and we are constantly being tested and challenged... so, maybe we'll wait a little bit.. however, I hope our next pregnancy is a good one!   :)

I have to say that my pregnancy was absolutely fabulous! To start, we conceived the first time we tried;  after having carefully monitored my basal temperature for a month, I knew exactly when I was ovulating. From the first week I found out I was pregnant, I felt great. I have to admit that at times I'd forget I was pregnant during the 1st trimester because I never once felt nauseous or threw up (except once on the plane, but I usually do anyways :). Once the belly started growing, we were so happy because now we got so much attention and privileges (parking spaces, going first in line, etc). And I was lucky enough to not get a single stretchmark - I used to lather with cocoa butter and/or baby oil twice a day. Only during the last trimester did I start to feel tired and clumpsy, but all in all I'd have to say that my pregancy was a breeze! My daughter is 10 months now and we're planning for our second around April. I hope this next pregancy is just as smooth...you know how they say each pregnancy is different....

I loved being pregnant!  Even though, I was a high risk pregnancy, developed complications (count them, 2 kidney stones, and Coliastasis of pregenancy), and didn't sleep for the last month, it was all worth it.   I loved watching my belly grow and knowing there was a little life inside of me.  The pregnancy hormones left me happy all the time (even through all the pain!)  The delivery was absolutely hell, but once I held my little girl, it didn't matter anymore...
