Deciding What's MOST Important

As one day rolls into a week, a week rolls into a month and so on, my little girl is growing up incredibly fast.  When people said 'enjoy each moment' I took it heart and do my best each day to be present with her, to play and make her laugh, to make sure she's having rich experiences.  It's a difficult thing to balance when the list of 'to do's' is every growing, when life is expensive and money needs to made and when mama has to take care of her herself to be at her best.

This weekend someone gave a mug with this poem (see below) and I think it's great perspective on deciding what's most important on the list of to do's..

    Cleaning and scrubbing

    Can Wait Till Tomorrow

    For babies grow up

    We've learned to our sorrow

    So quiet down cobwebs

    Dust go to sleep

    I'm rocking my baby

    And babies don't keep

    - unknown

I love a clean housed but I hope this helps others to really let go and savour each moment with your precious little ones....
