loot bags

    Hi,

Our twins are turning 1 this week (yikes!) and we are having a party for them next weekend.  I have cousins of all ages coming, from about 15 months up to 10 years, and I am struggling with loot bag ideas that are reasonably priced.  I really hate getting just junky stuff for the sake of giving a loot bag.  Any good creative ideas out there?  I've been scouring the dollar stores, but really just find a lot of crud there, other than stickers.

    Thanks!

I'm not sure what your budget is, but I like to include books or craft type stuff, as opposed to cheap toys that will just break and get thrown away.

The Samko & Miko warehouse sale (details are posted in the Family Events & Sales section) have tons of very reasonably priced books. They have lots of stickers, too.

For girls, I include my handmade hair clips/ accessories.

Also, what about food items like home baked cookies or cupcakes?

I know it's too late but for anyone else who may need the information, here's a site I found that specializes in loot bags. They're at Bathurst and Rutherford.
