Will and life insurance

    Hello,

    I have 2 young babies and have been thinking about planning a will and getting life insurance for them.

    Just trying to gain some knowlege on how to go about on planning a Will.

    Also, which type of life insurance works best for families with young children...

    Any suggestions?...

    Cathy, check out this previous topic on Wills and Estate Planning, there is some info on Wills and lawyers there.

    In terms of life insurance, we set up a family term life insurance policy with Manulife when we got our mortgage, through our financial planner with Investors Group. We pay an annual premium for coverage for both my husband and myself.

    Hi Cathy - you can also check out MyLawBid (www.mylawbid.com) which can save you time, stress and money when searching for a lawyer. 

    For example, if you need an estate lawyer in Markham to draft your will or you need a real estate lawyer in Toronto because your family is growing and you bought a new house, you can submit your legal issue anonymously and have a number of lawyers respond as to how they can help you.  It is a free service because MyLawBid's goal is to provide the public (you!) with greater access to the legal community.
