I was speaking with some moms who were looking for something to do with their toddlers and one of them told me about Backyard Camp.  I had never heard about it before.  A parent gives their backyard and parents/caregivers and tots play together for a couple of hours.  I thought it was a great idea for my 2 year old but wanted to do something that I could have my 4 1/2 year-old come as well and really didn't want to have a ton of people in my house if the weather was bad.

So I decided to create Ultimate Backyard Camp, which will run out of Ventura Park P.S. in Thornhill.  For the toddlers, it is a half day program with their parent/caregiver.   For the children who are toilet-trained, it is a drop-off half day program with qualified CPR/First-Aid trained University/College students with a ton of experience with kids.  The day will be filled with sports, arts & crafts, playtime and circle time.
