At what age can/ should you take your baby to get tested, and what do the test involve (i.e. are they invasive)? Or do you have to wait and find out the hard way that your baby has allergies?
we had a feeling that our daughter had an allergy, because she would get random rashes.. we asked the doctor about it and he said it wasn't food related and to just give her whatever, and we gave her a peanut and had to call 911 cause she had an anaphalactic reaction....if you think your child is allergic to something, push your doctor for testing.. I think its much better to do the testing then go what we went through. I'm assuming its the same as an adult, they do the scratch tests..but I'm not sure, we're waiting for an appointment with an allergist.
