French Immersion York Region

    For those considering putting their child in the York Region French Immersion School, please note that the process will change for 2011.  There will now be a lottery and that may mean siblings may have to go to separate schools depending on how the lotter works out.

    Is there any French Immerision school for Kindergarten level in York ( Thornhill, Concord or Maple, public or catholic).

    I Just found a french immersion kindergarten program at rocking horse daycare it is private so you have to pay the same as daycare fees but I will be Sending my son there. Does anyone have any experience with this program?

    French Immersion in york region starts Gr1 . I think this is true for the catholic school board.

     In Toronto it starts in SK


    There are public schools that are in French, and they start early (JK?). However, the parents must speak french


    If anyone knows of any French Playgroups please post :)
