Hi Hina,
I couldn't tell from your post where you are located, but the program that I have experience with is called "School's Cool". It is run in many locations across Ontario and Manitoba, including school boards and early years centres. It is a school 'readiness' program for children aged 3-5, and we enrolled our son in the summer that he turned five. (he was July baby). We opted to skip JK with him due to our feeling that he wasn't ready yet, placed him in School's Cool over the summer, and then straight into SK in the fall.
Our shy, not very verbal, anxious-of-anything-new son thrived within the School's Cool program. (after a period of adjustment, of course!) He then went into SK with confidence and excitement. I can't say enough about what this program did for him.
Not knowing your daughter, I don't know if she is just having trouble adjusting to all the new routines in her life and classroom, or if she has other issues that need to be considered. But she is only four, with a whole other year of kindergarten to get ready for the rest of her school life. If you can get her into a summer program somewhere close to where you live, you may find it makes all the difference for her.
Good luck!
