- This is a NON CERTIFICATE COURSE where we will
cover the basics in CPR and FIRST AID for babies and children, including dealing with scrapes, cuts, bumps, bruises etc.
- This is a
child friendly class. You may bring your child to play and keep an eye on them
while listening to the topic.
- There is a Fee of
$11 per attendee for this class (in
addition to the Family Place $5 donation).
Those with prior
training on this topic may opt out of this class by not registering, even if
you are part of the regular Parenting Confidently Series. Newcomers to the series are
also welcome to attend this class to gain the training.

Parenting Confidently for NEW Parents INFANTS Age 0-12 months
Parenting Confidently is a FREE six week program and an informative / practical informational series of topics that enhance confidence and reduce the anxiety and nervousness that new parents face. It is also a great way to meet new moms in your area and get introduced to the Life With A Baby program.
Life With A Baby is excited to be bringing this program for the FIRST TIME to MOUNT ALBERT!!!!
Purpose: To give new parents and caregivers tools and resources to feel more confident taking care of a small child and equip them with life saving skills.
Program runs THURSDAYS from 9:30am - 11:30am beginning JAN 15 for a total of 6 weeks (see dates below!).

These are child friendly classes where you can BRING YOUR CHILD ages 0-12 months. Older siblings are welcome to attend as well as long as there is a baby in the family age 0-12 months. This course is generally recommended for first time mothers or mothers new to this information.
PLEASE TEND TO YOUR CHILDREN DURING CLASS. Lots of toys to keep them entertained while you listen to the topic and keep an eye on them.
Please individually register for EACH SESSION that you wish to participate in. It is recommended that you attend EACH SESSION if you choose to do this program in its entirety.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH THIS SERIES IS FREE, THE MOUNT ALBERT FAMILY PLACE COLLECTS A $5 DONATION PER family, PER SESSION (CASH ONLY). OR FREE IF YOU BUY THEIR ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP. Please see their website if you wish to but an annual membership OR inquire when you visit the facilities.
