Time for Tabata!
Work as hard or soft as you feel comfortable.
We suggest you talk to your doctor at your 6-week postpartum check-up
before beginning this routine and you know your limits.
Tabata exercise is a High-Intensity Interval Training where you work
hard for 20 seconds and then take 10 seconds recovery. Repeat with different
exercises for four minutes straight before you get an extended rest period. Tabata
is extremely effective at burning calories and helping to lose that baby
weight!
What you get:
·
Total body workout designed for new moms to develop cardio strength, muscular
strength, core strength and overall flexibility
·
A reduced rate of $5/class (most fitness classes cost $15-20 per class)
·
Meet new moms in the area
·
Discussion circle after the workout where you can get advice from other
mom’s dealing with the same issues/problems
How it will work: We meet as close to 9:50 am to
begin at 10 am sharp. After a total body warm-up, we will run through a 4 min
tabata cycle before getting a longer rest period. You can go as hard or as easy
on yourself as you want as modifications for many of the exercises will be
offered.
Babies will be free to play on blankets next to us. If moms choose to
carry their babies the exercises will be modified to suit their needs.
Cost: $5 per class (non-refundable) -
you must pay online prior to the class to secure your spot. If you do not pay
online your spot will be given to the next person on the waiting list.
We will offer walk-ins at a cost of $7 per class and will only be
available if there is space. Please note if the class is full and you want to
