Morning Keynote : Jill  Javelosa-Alvarez


Jill will lead a workshop on early learn development followed by an interactive circle (Please bring infant carrier to participate.)

Jill Javelosa-Alvarez is a Registered Early Childhood Educator with a strong educational background and years of experience in working with children, families, and early learning professionals. She currently works as an Early Literacy Specialist for York Region in Ontario, Canada and has been nominated in the Educator of Character 2015 Category by the York Region Community Character Foundation. She is actively involved in mentoring children and youth in her community.

She is passionate about enhancing children`s learning through play and her messages place a strong emphasis on the importance of parent engagement and quality interaction and connection with young children. She offers consultations, training, and workshops to parents, caregivers, and professionals on how to support children’s early literacy and early numeracy development. Her life goal is to teach minds, touch hearts, and transform lives.

She is the author of the books: ABC, ABC, What Do You See? and The Handbook for Busy Parents.

Jill is a busy mom of two wonderful children whom she is totally crazy about.

Seanna Thomas is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist living in Toronto. She works as a personal consultant, speaker, and freelance writer while appearing monthly on Rogers Daytime television. She is a regular contributor to the Yummy Mummy Club, Triathlon Magazine Canada, as well as multiple other publications. Seanna is a mother to three children aged 7, 6, and 4. Her husband works as a medic in the Canadian military. Although Seanna is educated in all aspects of nutrition, she focuses on realistic clean eating with a spotlight on healthy family habits. She is known online as the Nutritionnaire and writes a weekly blog. She can also be found on twitter, facebook, and instagram. In her downtime, she enjoys being outdoors with her family and relaxing at home with her husband and a well-deserved glass of wine.


This is a posh baby event! Every mom gets a loot bag and door prize draws. A buffet lunch, amazing line up of speakers, and a really fun morning to connect with other moms and babies.

Coffee/tea will be provided throughout the day.  A buffet lunch will be served.

Registration Time: 9:30-9:50 AM
Event Start Time: 10 AM and ends at 3:00 pm

Please only register adults as guests.  No registration needed for your child.  This event is appropriate for infants 0-12 months.

This event is not appropriate for  toddlers.
