Mom's Night Out - Learn to Knit (Cambridge)

  • Thursday, April 20, 2017
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • 3 Grand Ave S., Cambridge (Event Depot)

This class is going to take you through everything you need to know to knit your very own cowl.  We'll start together by learning about the tools of the trade, how to cast on, how to knit and purl and get you started on the road to your very first knitted project. We'll learn how to identify the stitches, read a pattern and talk about how many different patterns you can make with just the knit and purl stitches.

Best of all we'll supply everything you need including your knitting needles, pattern, yarn and tapestry needle.

So whether you're 100% new to fibre arts or have tried in the past and are ready to give it another go, come join us!

Your instructor Thamo has been knitting for over 10 years, teaching others for about 5 and has been designing patterns for about a year. She has 2 boys (aged 5 and 3) and uses yarning as a creative outlet and productive escape from house work.
