Winter is coming! And with it comes the “cold and flu” season! A season that is a challenge for all of us! BUT for children under two years, especially infants and those who were born early or are medically fragile, (congenital heart disease, chronic lung disease or specific respiratory or immune conditions) they are at a significant increased risk of being admitted to hospital should they become ill.

This presentation will talk about the risk, some of the common winter illnesses, and how parents and professionals can balance decreasing this risk and “having a life”. Resources will be provided.
