This program is geared towards parents of toddlers over age 2!
It’s Time to Toilet Train!: In this interactive workshop, parents will be provided with the information that they need to start the toilet training journey with their toddler. Learn how to tell if your toddler is ready, strategies for promoting the use of the potty, and common troubleshooting tips. All strategies are research backed and based off of the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
Babies in arms and children are welcome to attend; however please note that there are no activities for the children onsite. Please bring items to keep toddlers entertained.
Cost: $10.00 per participant
Elissa Moretto, M.A., BCBA is the Clinical Director & Owner of Kids First Behaviour Services. As a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and as a mother of two young toddlers, Elissa is dedicated to helping other parents gain the tools to help teach their children meaningful skills and to manage challenging behaviours within the home. Elissa helps families achieve their behavioural and skill development goals through using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), which is the research-based science of behaviour and learning. From working with over 50 families in York Region, Elissa is skilled at ensuring strategies are realistic, easily understandable, and suitable for the average family.
