This class is focused on learning on how to repair your core after pregnancy and delivery. Our bodies go through changes after delivery and Power Mat Pilates can help you get back into shape by retraining your weakened and stretched abdominals (Diastasis Recti), realigning your imbalanced hips and back and strengthen your pelvic floor muscles while connecting with your baby.
This is a Introduction to Pilates, that in solely a mat workout, so please bring your mats, water and babies.
If you have 2 lbs hand weights, please also bring them with you. (not required)
Moms should be 6 weeks postpartum with doctor's approval to workout.
Moms wishing to stay and play AFTER class are welcome to at Urban Park Play ground.
THIS CLASS IS BEST SUITED FOR MOM & BABY WHO ARE NOT YET MOBILE.
