When we talk about self-care, what are the first things that come to your mind? Can you list a few examples? Do you put your self-care as priority and associate these activities with “fun” or “necessity”? If not, what are the barriers? As moms, we can all relate and acknowledge that having proper self-care is not always the easiest thing to do. However, self-care impacts every aspect of our mental health. In this workshop, we will explore the definition of self-care, barriers to self-care, goal setting, and mindfulness practice in the hopes of achieving some mental stability in the midst of all the chaos at home.

Mindfulness practice has been shown to be effective in the reduction in a few mental challenges, such as depression and anxiety. At the end of this workshop, we hope that you will begin incorporating mindfulness as part of your self-care routine and become able to utilize these skills to build resiliency.

This is an adult focused workshop.

There is a small fee for this program. If this fee is a barrier for you to attend, please contact Allison (niagara@lifewithababy.com, 9059804263) and we can work with you.
