Toddlers:  Tender, Terrific, and Tenacious!  They dig in - NO! - throw tantrums, then ten minutes later melt your heart with the most honest hug or act of kindness.  They tumble and get back up again. They dump out the tidy contents of a drawer and then sit in it looking pleased. They cause us to lose sleep and to lose our patience. They are also masters of observation, scientists, spiritual gurus, and our future.  Understanding your toddler can help avoid some of the fuss and frustrations of living with them, especially during COVID.  Join us for this FREE 5 week series on Parenting Your Toddler

Series Topics:

  1. What does science say is happening in that little body and brain? What are your big questions?

  2. Self-regulation/co-regulation/positive guidance, I just want her to get in the carseat!

  3. Magic of rituals in daily routines: eating, sleeping, bathing, and saying good-bye.  Avoiding tantrums and conflicts.

  4. The power of play. Seeing what’s driving those repeated actions

  5. Get outside and get active. So many benefits for you and your toddler.

  6. Self-care: mindfulness, a hot drink, and can you pee alone?

Resources and helpful links  provided on all topics.
