Dear LWAB Member Moms, 

another local member would like to arrange for other moms and babies to meet up during the socially distanced public swim times @ The Magna Centre in Newmarket.   

The details to participate are as follows....

Signing Up

Note that the weekly swimming times are posted WEEKLY on Fridays mornings by the Magna Centre for that weeks swim times.

1. Go to: https://play.newmarket.ca/Start/Start.asp

2. On the left hand side click on “programs (search and register online)”

3. On the left hand side click on “swimming Drop in”

4. Under “Swimming – Public Swim” tab, click “show courses”

5. Select the date and add to cart. – you will be prompted to make an account.

- If you do not have an account yet, you will have to make one, you will be sent a set of codes used for log in (it may take a day or so to arrive)

Each person (including your child) counts for a spot. Make sure there is a spot for you and your child when you sign up

- You will have to add your child as a registrant on your account. You can do that by clicking “Add Registrant” on the right side under your information

- Make sure that you have both yourself and your child added to your cart

Meeting Spot: In the kiddie pool!

Cost:

• Children under 4 years old are $1.25
• Anyone Over 4 years old is $3.00

Coming to Swimming

• Come with your swimwear on – change rooms are available for after swim only
• Park by the main door on the east side of Magna (Only door available for swimming)
• Mask must be worn for entry and until you are ready to enter the pool
• Check in at the table outside of the pool – children will be given a wristband to wear
• Come into the pool area, take off your outdoor shoes, and find a sanitized chair to leave your belongings
• Come join and have fun in the kiddie pool!

Please note that the Magna Centre will not admit anyone who is 10 mins or more late!  Space is limited, first come first serve who BOOK ONLINE with the Magna Centre Directly.
