Our Spring Break Makerspace Week events are designed to help you and your child fully celebrate Spring Break while developing your child's creativity, imagination, early literacy and social skills. Spring Break Makerspace provides spaces where families can gather to create, invent, and learn.

Spring Break Makerspace: Puppets!

Join us in welcoming Applefun Puppetry Chief Puppeteer Mike Harding! Puppet play is effective because it helps the parent/teacher enter into the child's imaginary world and allows children to experience the feelings of other characters (early empathy development), learn important social behaviours and conversation skills, singing, rhyming, exploring emotions, social and emotional development.
