About Your Facilitator: Amy Kelly
Women’s health advocacy is in the DNA of Amy Kelly’s career. From advocating survivors ofsexual assault, running a women’s center, being a midwife for ten years before obtaining her master's in counselling psychology, Amy has dedicated years to centering the experience of those who identify as women in her practice. She has completed trainings with Postpartum Support International, Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Trainings.
She has obtained a certificate in Somatic Attachment Psychotherapy and completed a fellowship in Infant Parent Mental Health at UC Davis. She is a counsellor with the Pacific Perinatal Foundation. She has made countless presentations to mother’s groups, obstetrical departments and for the school district.When not in practice, she is writing and lives on a hobby farm with her husband, two teens and hoofed family members on Vancouver Island.
