I need to find a pediatrician, if you can recommend one?

There was a post about this a while back but I can't find it. Also do you know if I need to have a requisition from my GP for a pediatrician? My GP only works Mon & Thurs so she is supportive of us finding one but she never gave me any info about how to go about finding one.

I saw Dr. Freedman in Thornhill was excellent, however, after several attempts to reach his office our messages are left unanswered. Thanks!

Hi there!

We go to Dr. Maze in Thornhill (if I'm not mistaken, he shares an office with the Dr. Freedman you mentioned?) at Thornhill Square. He's friendly & efficient, and I totally don't feel rushed when we go ... takes the time to answer all our questions and concerns each visit!

The system they have there is you call and leave you name & number only, then they call you back when they are available. Let me know if you want the contact info!

Hi there, there's a new kids clinic at major mackenzie and bathurst called Maple Kidz clinic that is accepting new patients. The doctors are quite good, the clinic is quite nice. I started going there two months ago so can't share alot of info on the doctors but just in case you're interested.

Hello everybody,

I just moved to Richmond Hill / Aurora area (Bayview/Bloomington). I have a two months old little girl. I had a really good pediatrician in Toronto area, however since we moved here, I would like to find one around this area. I am really NOT familiar with this area at all - can anybody recommend one?

Not sure if that is too far for you but they may also be able to refer you to someone closer.

I quite like the staff and they have a dr on call 24 hours.
