My 11 month old daughter is gluten-free.  We live in the Oak Ridges area.  I am looking for:

    1) Other parents of children who are gluten-free to connect with and trade notes.

    2) A child-care provider that would be interested in caring for her 3 days a week.  I would provide the food and education as to what products (ie. lotions, sunblock, playdough, etc.) that can trigger the allergy.  The allergy is NOT life-threatening.

My 13 month old son has the potential to develop lots of food allergies....because I have tons of them...including an allergy to wheat. Im still experimenting to see what he is allergic to. Im in Newmarket but am possibly going to be taking in some kids to supplement my husbands income. I dont often have computer access but emails come to my phone so if you want to talk more you can email me. kimmyomalley@live.ca

    Hi there,

I am starting a daycare out of my home.  Not sure if you are still looking.  My brother in law has a gluten allergy so I have had to learn alot about it as our families spend a lot of time together.  If you are still looking let me know. I am located in Central Newmarket.

I have found day-care for my daughter for now--thank-you to all of you who have responded. However, I would love to connect with other parents who have children or are caring for children with wheat/gluten issues around how you are doing/coping with this...
