Both of my sons loved the jolly jumper. I also have a jumperoo which they enjoyed but didn't really jump much in it, just played with the toys. My cousin's son was the opposite though, he would go crazy jumping in the jumperoo and hated the jolly jumper. The jolly jumper takes a bit more effort to strap them in and hang them up but it is a snug fit and it is easily adjusted to your child's height. I loved jolly jumper. I just hung it up in the kitchen doorway and the baby would jump away while I made dinner or cleaned up and could easily be put away when not in use. I guess it would depend on your preference. Maybe you could "test drive" a friend's before you decide to buy.
