    Hi,

this might be a silly question, but I have a question about freezing certain foods for my babies.  They are now 10.5 months and no longer need us to make stuff and puree it before freezing it.  However, I would still like to cook in bulk so I am not always scrambling.  If I cut up squash or sweet potatoes and cook them, can I just freeze them in chunks?

    thanks!

YES!!! It works great!!! I used to cut it up and cook it then freeze it so all I had to do was microwave it!!!

Indeed, its a great way to save you time and it doesn't compromise the nutrition within the vegetable.  You can also mash it and put in ice cube maker containers then freeze it. You then can run hot water on it to release the portions you need for a meal, then return the unused batch in the freezer with no hassle.  And microwave the needed portions for full thawing and heating.  Hope this gives you ideas for other food preps. :)
