Green Beans on fire

I just tried to put green beans in the microwave to get warmed up and they starting sparking and actually caught on fire. This all happened in under 5 seconds.
Did anyone else have this experience?

Wow! That sounds serious. I had uneven /cooking with several microwaves, which is why I decided to not use them 5 years ago. Now I just cook everything on the stove and reheat things by steaming them. Takes a little longer but I'm used to it by now.
