    How old is your child?

How do you get your little one to eat their vegetables?

My daughter is 3.5 yrs.  When she was about 15 months we started to give her "dips" for her veggies (and for that matter just about any food she wanted to dip).  The dips tend to change over time, but it has been ranch dressing, french dressing, ketchup, cheese sauce etc.  She still loves to dip her veggies (both raw and cooked).

My son is almost four. He used to be a great eater but as soon as he started feeding himself, he started being picky. One trick I've been doing is shredding different vegetables and putting them into things. I usually shred carrots and zucchinis. I would cook them up and put them into quiche, meat sauces, meatballs, omelettes, just about anything that can blend well with the shredded vegetables. It's been working wonders! I even put zucchinis in pancakes! Like a sweet and savoury pancake. I would also put corn in it too.
