Milk supply is a big concern for new breastfeeding mothers - how do you know if you have enough milk, and how can you increase it?

What techniques and supplements have you tried to increase your milk supply, and did they work?

You can drink a lot of juices or beverages that contain milk. The thicker the better. Also, make sure the strpas of your bra are lose, in order to leave room to the breast to storage milk.

    Hope this helps,
    Sandra

If you are worried about the mik supply, look at baby! Enough poos and pees and meeting milestones, milk is plentiful. If you are still worried, blessed thistle and fen-u-grek togehter will boost supply. Also there is domperidom, a safe prescription drug that Dr. Newman can prescribe that boosts the milk supply.

Cows milk does not equal mothers milk. Be careful about the amount of dairy intake as the milk proteins within the cows milk will be hard on baby's tummy (most of the time) and they will be fussy, gassy and miserable!

My milk supply was low when my daughter was newborn.  We only knew for sure in hindsight, when her weight gain was sluggish compared to other babies.  I was prescribed domperidone to increase milk supply, but to be honest I am not sure it did a lot for me.  What did much more good was taking fenugreek capsules, as had been recommended to me while I was still in the hospital after delivery.  I knew it made a difference immediately because I was much fuller and could hear bigger "gulps" - and her weight gain picked up.

My baby drink breast milk for 30 minutes for both right and left breast.
I can say she is full when she take off her mouth or fallen asleep.

what I do to increase the production of my breast milk is eat a lot of vegetables and peas.
also I always try to feel happy when breast feeding my baby so that the production will increase because my happy mood will send message to my hormone to produce more.

    hope it helps
