What kind of pump do you use?
I have an Avent Uno but find the shield is uncomfortable. I'm considering a switch to Medela since it has different size shields.

Any other suggestions? I am trying to pump a freezer supply in the next while.

    Thanks!

I used a Medela Swing and really liked it, but regret not purchasing a double pump.  A double cuts down pumping time and I (not to be too graphic...) often leaked on the side I wasn't pumping, so either lost all that milk, or had to rig up another way to collect it!

Either way, I was happy with the Medela brand.

i have the medela pump in style advanced breast pump with on the go tote.  it's a double pump & was highly recommended by the nurses when my son was in the NICU.  takes 15 minutes to pump, both breasts simultaneously.  i love it cuz the tote bag is so discreet that no one would know it's a breast pump inside.  a little pricey though, about $300+ CAD

The Medela Free Style is amazing, you won't regret buying it. I now enjoy it again with my second baby and it's the best. Actually, the best ones are the hospital pumps, which are huge but do a great job. You can rent them in Shoppers if you only need it for a short time

I have been using the medela pump in style double breast pump for the past 10 months fulltime as my daughter would not latch on. This particular pump is my sister in laws which she used for two years almost 7 years ago. Obviously I would recommend it not only for its longevity but for the fact there are different breast plate sizes making it more comfortable.

I have the Medela Freestyle as well, and found it to be very comfortable and easy to use. I started out with the hospital grade Symphony rental and thought I'd be pumping exclusively for a few months, so made the investment in a double electric pump.

I found the best prices at http://shop.birthexperience.com/, and you can save a little more on shipping if you're able to drive out to Mississauga to pick up your purchase.
