rapid eye blinking in kids

I noticed that Katelyn (almost three) started having rapid eye blinking of both eyes. The doctor says it's normal in kids this age and it's a transient tic disorder.  It can also be caused by stress (and we just got back from a vacation without her) so this may be the cause.  I'm trying to make her environment as calm as possible to reduce any anxiety she may have about us leaving again. I'm also upping her magnesium intake to reduce any nervous feelings she has.

I'm just wondering if anyone else have any experience with this? How long did it last? What did you do in the interim?

    Thanks
    Claire

How did you administer the additional magnesium in the diet?  Are these special tablets or a meal recipe?  Would it also be considered something like Rickets, thus vitamin D supplementing will help?
