Do you give your kids vitamin D drops?

    How old are they?

I didn't give Adam vitamin D since he was 1 year old, but he looks pale, we don't spend much time outside and I consider starting to give him vitamin D again.

We started Vitamin D from about 2 months. We had the D Vi Sol but hated it (the 5ml seemed so much and it was difficult to administer. We then discovered Baby D-drops which are much easier to administer (and cheaper, too).

At baby's 1 year appointment, I asked my paediatrician if we should continue with Vitamin D, seeing as baby is now on solid foods. He said we can continue to supplement indefinitely.

So, whenever we remember, we give the d-drop but aren't too concerned if we miss a day, since a lot of other foods in our toddler's diet are vitamin D enriched.

Have been giving my daughter D-drops as long as she is breastfeeding almost exclusively (till now at 6 months old).  One drop on the nipple once a day does the trick.  When she is older, we may try the Di Vi Sol again since we already bought it, but then when she is having formula a few times a day I don't think the vitamin D drops are required as she will get enough in the formula.
