I used an amber teething necklace with my little guy.  I think it may have helped but I'm not sure.  He did not get overly fussy or anything and it seemed to help with the drooling when he was teething.  I got the necklace at Sweetheart Diapers in Windsor.  They do have a website that you can order from if you are not in the Windsor area.  They also now have amber teething anklets if you're worried about the necklace around the babies neck.

I bought one from a flash sale site (http://babyhalfoff.com/). You can also get from http://peekaboobottoms.com/teething-natural-teething-remedies-c-94_198.html

DD was already almost 1 year old when I bought it and she was an early teether. She didn't wear it much as she went in to daycare and they did not allow it. It does look very cute :) and I do think it helps a little, but who can really say. They are meant to promote general wellness as the warmth of your skin causes it to release healing oils in to the body, which is a natural remedy for pain relief.

    More info here - http://hazelaid.com/C_About_Baltic_Amber.html

Then I found as DD got older, she didn't _want_ to wear it. I actually bought one for myself, and then she showed interest, as she wanted to wear one 'just like mommy'.

For teething, I found thte Boiron's Camilia worked for DD.

that seems pretty strange to use a teething device debbi as according to you and your ped in an earlier post teething doesnt do anything but cause teeth.

Didn't buy it for teething, but general wellness. I have all my teeth, so I didn't buy one for myself for teething ;)
And in my other post, I was just saying that's what my paediatrician said, it's not necessarily what I believe.

As mentioned, for teething we used Camilia.

I'm using Camilia and quitude to put her down to sleep and works amazing
during the day i'm wearing her most of the time and she seems ok just by having mom close to her
i also think that those necklaces are cute so why not give it a try ;)
i already order one from hippybottoms and is hopefully arriving tomorrow!! I hope i can stop giving her the camilia and the quitude since i dont really trust any medication, including the homeopath.. that is just me
