Hi,

I've looked into two in the Thornhill area...the first was the Montessori school house on dufferin/Major Mack and the second is TMS (Bayview and 407). 

When I went in to see the school house I was sadly dissapointed.  The look of the school was not appealing as well the response from the staff there was dismal (I had to continously chase them down for information). 

I opted to look at TMS at bayview and 7 and what a difference!  My daughter has been there since September and LOVES the toddler program.  The teachers are fantastic and patient, the rooms are clean and inviting and the kids seem to really enjoy their time there and are encouraged to be independent which is fantastic.  I'm not sure what the children's house program will be like, but so far it's a win for me.

As an aside, I did talk to another parent whose daughter is now at TMS and whose daughter was previously enrolled at the school house and she took her daughter out after about 5 weeks.
