Any similar experience

My son is 11 months old.  He throws up every now & then and when he does, it is his whole last meal.  I have been trying to find the reasons...sometimes maybe he sticks his fingers in his mouth after the meals; sometimes he doesn't like the texture of the food; sometimes cuz I force-feed him; etc etc

Does anyone have similar experience?  It just worries me as it looks horrible and I always worry that he doesn't eat enough.  He is not a big eater to start with.

    thx

It's possible your son may be having some form of allergic reaction to the food he is eating. Did you take note of which foods he has had everytime he throws up? Perhaps keep a food log. And as always, I would check with your doctor.

Yeah, I would agree with your observation that sticking his finger in his mouth induces the throw-up or reflux. Its probably just it.  Or if you find yourself getting a little too enthusiastic to continuously put food in his mouth with the sudden interest for food (since you've noticed his "slow start"), just manage the amount with every spoonful, from tiny bit to half full... you'll know.  Yeah, kids are quite messy during meals but its a good time to get a goofy photo too!  ;-D
