Happy Holidays to all the wonderful LWAB members!

We are all faced now with the winter cold and there is not much yet to do outside - there is no soft snow covering the grounds yet, at least not now as I am writing this post.  :)  So where am I going with this? I would love to know where you all like to hang out on a cold winter day when it is too cold to be outside. Do you like to go to playdates to  each others houses, or to anindoor  playpark, or a coffe shop, or...do you have a some interesting suggestions or place you would like to recommend so we can organize an event there. Let us know, we would love to hear from you.

    Thank  you,

    Tunde

We still try to spend time outside as much as possible. However, we also have a membership at the Science Centre since they have a great big play space for kids 12 month and up. We also have a Zoo membership - the inside pavilions are a good option for the cold days. There is also Reptilia:))

We often go to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) and the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO).  We're planning a few trips to the Science Centre.  Basically everywhere my husband and I went before we had a baby.  Most of these places now cater to children with special play areas and people no longer get offended if children are in the Art Gallery.

I also have a membership for my daughter (currently aged 19 months) to My Gym in Richmond Hill.  I like going there because we have a weekly class but it also includes a free play day.  So 2 of our mornings are at My Gym and the rest of the time, we fill in with Ontario Early Learning Centres (they're all over the place and they're free!) and the local library for Toddler Time.  We also go swimming at the indoor, heated pool in Newmarket (Aquacentre). I don't have many friends in the area that are stay-at-home moms so we try to meet from time-to-time in a central area for playdates.  There are some great indoor playgrounds in Vaughan and Oakville that are amazing!
