My son is almost 7 months  and i would really like to get him involved in some programs/ play dates but i am having a hard time finding them.. I don't really know the area or really know anyone here, so if anyone could give me any information i would really appreciate it.. I'm hoping to not have to travel to far, I'm in the Bathurst and Steeles area.

    Hi Jenny,
There is a great Early Years Centre at Charlton Public School.  I used to live at Bathurst & Steeles and went there all the time with my daughter.   The website for the calendar is http://familydaycare.com/oeyccentres/calendars/toeyc_calendar.pdf  (look on the 4th page for the Charlton calendar)
On Wednesdays they have babies in play land.  I can meet you there  for playdate.  I have a 7 month old son.

There is also great programs at the Library at Bathurst & Clark.  My daughter loved the Born to Read program http://www.vaughanpl.info/programs/view/30

Have you been to G. Ross Lord Park?  The entrance is off Fisherville in the Bathurst & Steeles area.   I love this park!!! Great for  stroller walks.   Let me know which morning you are free and we can meet up for a walk.

    Thanks,
    Claire

Thank you for that information i really appreciate it.. I would love to meet and go to the babies in play land, i wouldn't be able to go this coming wednesday though (Feb 22) as my son has an appointment at sick kids. I can go the following wed if you would like to go.
I have been walking in G Ross park but i go in near antibies as i live right by that entrance, we could find somewhere to meet or i could figure out where the Fisherville enterance is and meet you there. Would you like to go for a walk on Mon?

    Jenny,

Here is a link to some early years programs - you can look at the calendars and see if any of the programs work for you.  I do musical babies at Oak Ridges Public school (different Early Years center) and it is pretty good.  This location is at John and Bayview, plus there are some satellite locations.

    Hope this helps

    Sarah
