    Hi moms;
I'm looking to start a playgroup  in the Thornhill/North York area for any moms interested ( I'm located at the border of the two places -Don Mills/Steeles). There are lots of nice trails and well-maintained parks with good playgrounds in the area. Let me know if anyone is interested, and i will gladly organize a first outing.
    Cheers,
    Lisa.

My daughter is 14 months and i live in the yonge and steeles area but i work 3 days a week so i am only available thursday or friday. Friday is preferrable for a playgroup. Is this doable? Does it fit into your plans? I have a car so i am pretty mobile. Feel free to email me at s28joseph@yahoo.ca Simone and Rebecca

Hello!  I'm at Yonge & Steeles, so not too far from you.  My son is 6-months so I am currently at- home, planning to go back to work in the Fall.....

I am in the North York area (York Mills & Leslie) and would love to head out for walks.

I am currently on mat leave returning to work in September.

I'm currently at home with my 5 1/2 month old daughter and would be interested in joining a playgroup in the Thornhill area.  I live near the Thornhill Community Centre and would be willing to meet up with other moms in the area.

Hi mommies! Thanks for your replies. Let's try a stroller walk/snack at Alamosa park for the first outing (it's on Alamosa Drive - closest intersection is Leslie/Finch, on Finch and west of Leslie - see below for link) . I know that next Tuesday, April 20th calls for good walking weather. I'm assuming that mommies and babies would prefer a time shortly after lunch - 1pm.  The trail takes about 1hr30min. depending on how far you want to go - this ravine heads north to Cummer and south to Shephard . I'll post this outing on the calendar, too. Feel free to tell others.

    Details:

Meet in front by the bench of Alamosa park on Alamosa Drive.

The ravine has a paved path with a little pond and small hills with deer, ducks, and plenty of birds.

There's plenty of parking on Alamosa drive.

    Tuesday, April 20th @  1pm

Bring a snack, an old sheet or towel so that babies can wonder around and water - there are a few steep hills!

Please RSVP so that we know who to expect. song.lisa@gmail.com

    See you there!

This is for the mommies interested in the playgroup. There's a nice park with lots of space and a clean playground on Simonston Blvd called Paddock Park in Thornhill, which is north east of Steeles on Don Mills Rd - just one block south of John and Leslie. We could meet at the park and have a playdate next Monday.

    Details:

We will be at the park at 1pm on Monday, April 19th .

Bring toys, a few snacks and an old sheet/towel for the babies to play on.

Let me know if you're able to make it so we know who to expect: song.lisa@gmail.com

    See you there!

    Lisa.

    Hi Lisa,

I'm in Thornhill as well, near Yonge and Clarke. I have a 6 month old son and we'd love to have a playgroup in the area. We missed the meet ups last week, hope there will be more.

I'm interested in joining as well but unfortunately don't have access to a car during the day. I'll try to make the meetups that are TTC accessible. Are there any mommies in the Yonge and Finch or Yonge and Sheppard area?
