    I'm not sure if they were successful or not.....I went on mat leave soon after that and I haven't asked about them.

    Yeah, its probably more appropriate not to ask.  Besides if they did conceive, you would know about it.  Oh how nice it would be that they will refer to you as the angel who blessed them with good fortune (a child).  ;D
