What pregnancy advise have you heard/received that turned out to be a myth, or should I say hilariously unfounded?
When I was pregnant I often heard the following (but not limited to)
1. The size and shape of the tummy determines the gender of the baby. They say if its kinda growing forward its a boy, and if its growing sideways its a girl.
2. When you get a lot of heartburn that means that baby is very hairy
3. When you seem uglier when you're pregnant the baby is a boy; if you seem prettier its a girl. Or if your nose is too big its a boy, otherwise a girl.
4. Drink a lot of milk or safron and the baby will be fair skinned.
5. Don't take a bath or shower for one whole month, otherwise the body will be very weak in old age. If you do shower, use warm water with a lot of ginger.
Ok, I'm trying to stop myself from adding more since i'm getting fits of laughter, and I haven't even made my personal comments yet.
What have you?
