    Hello Fellow Mommies,

We traveled to the UK recently and I decided to take my stroller. My stroller that I spent months and months researching and looking for while I was pregnant. I didn't follow the advise of my friends that said that I should fly with a cheaper and lighter stroller just in case..........
I figured that I have a great stroller and I should be able to use it!!! We took it with us! What a mistake that was........
Everything was fine until we grabbed our luggage at Pearson...when we got our stroller---they had busted one of the wheels off! I showed the airline personnel right there and they are getting it repaired...4 weeks later, my repaired stroller arrived! Yeah! Wrong.....from shipping it back to me, they busted up the same wheel. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks to get it fixed!

A word of advise from one mom to another---don't fly with your expensive stroller and instead get a cheaper umbrella stroller! Also, if your stroller is damaged during the flight, get them to repair it! They will, they have to.

    Cheers : )

I was bursting with giggles with your story.  Thanks for sharing! :D  I once traveled overseas with my daughter, 18 months then, and I too thought I should have brought an umbrella or ultra light stroller instead.  It became extremely inconvenient when my kid decided not to sit on it or if I had to squeeze through a tight line that went around. Argh!
